Looking for 1982 Kz750 Twin Used Carbs was created by doubledragon11988
Hey guys. I'm new on this forum and I just bought a 1982 Kz750 CSR Twin. I'm looking for used carbs that I can buy. I can probably only get 50-60 bucks. The reason why is because I'm having money problems right now and I just wanted the bike so bad. I checked everything on it and everything checks out. Compression was good, spark plugs have no sign of gas being lean or anything. All it needs is a clutch cable, carbs, and a gas tank. Not a bad deal at all for only 50 bucks. And clear title. anyway, if you guys can give me any help, i'd greatly appreciate it. The guys at the junk yard wants over a 100 dollars for a set of carbs, and I just dont have that much. anyway, again, any help with this would be a great help.

Hello, doubledragon11988, and WELCOME to KZr! :cheer:

Question, please --- did carbs and and a fuel tank come with the bike?
If so, perhaps restorable to serviceable condition.

Good Fortune! :)

no. they didn't. the guy gave me an extra set of carbs from a different bike because he didn't want them anymore. They're from a 600cc. Kelhin carbs. they won't work on mine. anyway, yea they're no good. the floats don't have the pins where they rest on the jet. I opened them up tonight to see what was wrong with them. but yea. I don't have the gas tanks or carbs. The problem was he sent them off with a guy and the guy ended up running off with the carbs and tank. so thats how it came to me for so cheap and the guy just wanted to get rid of it. I found some on ebay for pretty cheap but they're off a 79. Don't know if it will work on the 82.

Lots of good info on kawasaki.com, including parts diagrams, part numbers, models sharing same part, availability, etc.

Here's a link for help with navigating the site and finding information.
