K&N pods reportedly don't obstruct any carb entrance passage.

Which isn't to endorse their use on carbs, especially CV carbs.

There is no problem with K&N pods on Keihin CV 34s on a 750/4 and this is not something I read. Cheaper pods may cause obstruction but not K&Ns.
I have had pods on my 750. I have an airbox on it now and it is more for the stock look. I still kept the K&Ns and may go back some day.
