Anybody know the upjet sizes for running k&n's with pipes with next to no baffle? Want to run it rich so I don't melt the pistons.

You should do 2 things, 1st add the year and model info to your user profile signature so it will show up with each post. This will help everyone give you the response you want.
Then second if you go here; www.kawasaki.com/DefaultFrame.aspx?strCo.../VICHOOSEVEHICLE.ASP
Fill in the info for your bike it will come back with the parts diagram and list. It should show you the stock jetting for your bike, I believe it will be 117 main jets in the stock BS34 carbs. I run 122.5 mains in my 1000 with the same carbs and a 4-1 Vance and Hines. I also upped the stock pilot jets to 40's. Each bike and conditions are a bit different. You may find 127 mains suitable.

A good start point with what you have described is 4 sizes over stock.

I got the Dyno-Jet Jet kit for mine,raised the needles 1 clip spot down from suggested,and went with 142 big head main.The 155 small heads that came with the kit were too rich for me.
