SoCal Ultrasonic cleaner available was created by supercharged
I just got a 30L heated unit. Eager to test, I did some small pieces to rid them of oil, and I was disappointed. Could have just as easily dipped and brushed.
Then I tossed in a hole set of carbs that were recently disassembled and dipped, brushed, rubbed and blown clean (wish I was so lucky). Thought they were relatively clean. I was amazed at the crap that came off of and out of the carbs. very similar to the youtube demos I watched regarding ultrasonics.
I now have the job of disassembling 4 sets of carbs, cleaning and reassembling, but more confident that when they go back together.. they will be clean.
If anyone in the SoCal (Camarillo) area wants to use an ultrasonic cleaner, I have one here. decent size, will take a full rack of carbs. I am not in business and I am not going to rip your carbs apart, but if you want to stop by and try it out... go for it.
I'll try and take some before and afters as I do the carbs.
