There is absolutely nothing wrong with someone working out of their garage or basement. As long as they deliver what they promise.

$350 to replace the diaphrams on cv carbs? ive posted the name of a guy on here more than once that sells brand new diaphrams that stamps out on a press in his basement for right around $20.00 each brand new.
if people would just do a little investigating on sources of parts theyd save a lot of money! ;)
most carb rebuilds are pretty straight forward and dont require much more than a good soaking/scrubbing,apperantly its easier for lots of people to pay a lot of money than to get a little dirty.
now if you have broken /missing parts it can get more complicated B)
