ETA: I got a digital copy of the The 1977 KZ 750 B2 Service Manual form one of the guys over at That Kawai Twins forum. On page 40 of the .pdf it has a detailed break down of the carb and step by step instructions I can zoom in clearly on.

Like the title says?

I rebuilt my carbs this weekend and had these left over. Couldn't figure out where they went. BS 38 Carbs.

ETA: The washer is around 3/8" wide and the jet says 125 on it.

Lots of good info on kawasaki.com, including parts diagrams, part numbers, models sharing same part, availability, etc.

Here's a link for help with navigating the site and finding information.

I've tried that and can't see anything. Was hoping that one of the resident gurus would be able to point me in the right direction.

The one on the right is a main jet. It's located at the bottom of the bowl above the drain screw. Stock will read 125. I think the washer goes under the brass seat the float works against. I think mine has a fiber washer there.

Okay. I'll double check that jet in the bottom of the bowl when I am adjusting the floats tomorrow. The washer for the needle seat thing was already on it and I think the inside diameter was a little bigger but I will check that as well. Gonna try and get pics of where I put all the parts from the rebuild kit and maybe post them with some by the numbers instructions on how I rebuilt them. That way those with more experience can critique it and I can get better at it.

As bountyhunter already mentioned, it looks like a float needle seat washer and a main jet. Each of my kits came with two main jets (the stock 115 for my bike and an additional 118). Was this your situation?

The Keyster kits for the Mikuni BS-38 (750 twin) only come with the stock 125 main last time I bought them.

It was the washer for the drain plug and the main jet. Thanks for the help guys.

I put them in and adjusted the floats and she is screaming now. Haven't got her on the highway yet only 1st and 2nd around the neighborhood.

The love it when I tune the bike and cruise at 2200. I was to excited to wait until tomorrow.

That looks like a Dynojet aftermarket main jet. What mm i.d is the washer ? I don't think it's a bowl drain plug gasket, the older KZ/GS carbs didn't have a drain plug.

BS-38 carbs for the 750 twin do have drain plug and that does look like the washer for them. I forgot they came with metal washers because I pitched them decades ago and substituted fiber washers because the metal ones seep gas.

The main jet looks right as far as I can tell from the picture.
