Second time i've done this, earlier I tried to submit only to find that my session had ended. Oh well here goes again.
I have a '80 "G" with 38k miles, it had low compression and run very poorly so I did a top end.(pistons, valves, new coils, resealed the tank, new fuel filter) I carefull cleaned the electrical conections and carefully reinstalled the fuel injection system. When I start it it goes right to 4000 rpm. When I twist the throttle in comes down slowly and quits. I have checked the throttle linkage and the throttle valves, they are shut. Some how fuel is being dump in. Any ideas, throttle position switch, flow meter, computer? I have a Clymers manual with the '80 supplement. I will try and fix this problem for a while, but I may want to convert to carbs and sell the injection system as a whole lot.
Does anyone have detailed instructions on a conversion. Which carbs to use, how to plug the injector holes in the head, can I use the existing wiring harness, etc? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. FD61

You might want to inspect the injector spray pattern. That could be done on the bike with a container to spray fuel into.
What are the TPS lights showing?

When a relatively long time may be needed for whatever reason incident to preparing an outgoing message, I usually prepare the message in an offsite word processing program such as notebook.
The completed text may then be copied and pasted into the KZr outgoing message box and then "submitted."
