What do you mean by bigger carbs? Is there a modification I dont know about lol? What if I want the less problem possible

Unless you are going to add high compression pistons, ported head, high performance cams and bigger carbs, there really is no point in individual filters. The stock setup flows as much as the stock engine needs.

You want these for the hesitation on your 77 1000.sparkyzappa wrote: Is it possible to wheelie a kz1000? Just asking cuz Ive never even tried? Im having the mid range blues also (KZ1000 ltd 1977 pods and 4 into one's all other engine specs good) I raised the needle tonight testing it tomorrow. Adjusting fuel screw out one turn I got max rpm on number 4, but do I set them all the same or do I adjust for max rpm no matter where they end up on the rest?

This is incredibly helpful information.I know this is an old thread and I am way late to add much, but there was much talk about moving the needle up or down. I wanted to add the from a Mikuni carb manual which has a table showing the increase or decrease in fuel flow when moving the needle.
