Non-E gas or just Regular gas...?? was created by mzandmz
All my local Bike Buds use NON-E gas which is only sold in Premium Gas $4.59 a gallon. They all claim that the E-Crap is bad and gums up in Carbureted engines, lawnmowers and the like. Some say just regular gas is good enough if ridden frequently. WHo has the answer???? Thanks

Concur with your buddies, and when having a choice, would opt for non-e-crap regular or non-e-crap premium over any e-crap gasoline regardless of octane.

Good Fortune! :)

At least you have a choice...around where I live, all fuels are 10% ethanol.

If you are forced to use ethanol fuel because of availability, you might consider buying a quart of inexpensive synthetic oil, and add a cap full per fillup to ease the drying of the ethanol and add some lubricity to the fuel.

Make your own! ;)

Not really, isn't practical but you could do this for winter storage when combined with Stabil. I've had Stabil gas with 10% ethanol gum up carbs while setting over the winter .

I run pump 93 with stabil marine ethanol treatment with good results. I get it walmart for around $20 and it treats 360 gallons. I was told about it by a buddy that works on boats and said that the ethanol causes all kinds of issues in the marine industry.
