5CN8 Jet Needle for 77 kz1000 A1

I've exhausted my contacts to find a jet needle locally. The Kawasaki dealer wants too much $ for one and they are back ordered besides.

Does any one out there have a 5CN8 jet needle they would be willing to part with? It is the stock needle for a 1977 kz1000 A1.

Worst comes to worse I'll drop the old one back in and see how it goes.

Thanks,

R

I do have 5cn8 needles I might part with. I am currently rebuilding a set of kz1000 carbs that were on my 650. One needles has a bent tip which is why I am replacing them. Hopefully the ones I'm swapping them with will work fine. They are 5cl16 needles. They measure the same utilizing different grooves.
3 needles are still good just the one has a bent tip.

I am looking for a 5CN7 needle for an 08 KZ1000 A2 to replace one that got "bent tip syndrome".
Do you know how the 5CN8s would compare?
Is there somewhere to reference for std needle sizing by #?
Who might still stock something like this?
Thanks

Well the 5cn8 needles have multiple grooves for adjustability, 5cn7's do not have the grooves I believe. You would have to pull a needle and hold the two next to each other to see which groove to set the 5cn8 needles at. But I'm pretty sure the 5cn8 will work just fine for you.
