Hi guys. I swear it feels like the warranty just expired on this bike! Seems like things are starting to fall apart.

Anyway, went on a long ride Sunday and while showing my buddy something, the knob broke off the choke rod. The actual rod itself broke, leaving a piece inside the knob. I've ordered a new rod from Z1, but how difficult is it to replace? Do I have to take the carbs apart or something like that? I did a search but couldn't find anything specifically on replacing the choke rod itself. Thanks!

This is an '81 KZ1000 CSR, btw. (Thanks Ed!)

You might want to add the year/model of your bike to your signature line. That way if you forget to mention it we can still see which model you're asking about. Peace. Ed
