I don't know if you have been having problems with your vacuum petcock, but mine has been annoying as hell for this whole summer, I personally think swapping is a great idea and can't wait for my new tank to show up so I don't have to deal with the damn thing anymore.

i got an adapter plate and petcock from Z1enterprises..the cheaper petcock and plate for my bike was not too much...if you do get one take the time to really trace a circle with a sharpie where the petcock will rise into the tank...it has to be filed into that shape, and not the slot shape of a kawi vacum petcock....you'll see when you get the change over stuff in the instructions...i was in a hurry and tried to do it with a rat tail file with the plate in place....i filed mine in a hurry and left a bur and it ruined the soft threads on my new petcock as i spun it on,,,,,simple thing....i screwed it up and gotta order a new petcock...or try and chase the remaining threads...

I have the pingal and adapter on a spectra tank .
works great !! dont forget to shut it off !! if you do change your oil!!!
Mark with a sharpie and bore a hole in the tank
I used a acorn bit as not to catch or burr the surface

What no "Pro's"?
Only problem with the factory vacuum petcock I've had was a diaphragm failure, 28 years and the shit ethanol gas would be most of it, then I added Seafoam, blew it in less than 20 miles.
Otherwise they seem to be OK, no complaints otherwise.
