what other bikes can i get carbs from was created by fochtup1

hi, i'm looking to swap out my cv carbs on my kz 1100 shaft for non cv carbs. does anyone know what bikes i can rape for this? i know that i will probably need to re-jet the carbs and may need a push-pull throttle and cables.

Earlier Mikuni VM series KZ900/1000 and 2 valve GS750,850 and 1000 have the right carb spacing.You will need to use the earlier carb boots.

ok cool, the junk yard has a bunch of different bikes, but did not want to waste money getting the wrong ones.

Early GSXR 750 34mm Mikuni flat slides work great (I love mine) You'll need the larger carb flanges and some custom cables but I can give you some good jetting guidelines if you find some of these carbs.

Most early Suzuki GS carbs are bolt ons as well, just check spacing.

GS1100 carbs will bolt on as well.
