See, all those puzzling questions is why I left mine together. Good luck man. As far as the floats, just search "clear tube" and you'll see how to do it. On my float bowls I don't have a provision for a tube so I used the pen tip method and a short piece of fuel line(also found on these forums).

thanks ill check that out, but for now i need to get all the parts in. i would have left them strapped together, but was told to take them apart...

Look at those pictures you posted, see how the throttle slide valves are up in their bore near the top? Also at very different heights? You need to take the tops off all 4 cabs, these are held on by three screws each, the covers/ lids whatever. You will see that the "Connecting" rod that goes through for all 4 carbs is not in place. This must be installed, and the other "Bell Crank" with the throttle cable fitting will go on with this rod, at carb #3, which is the 3rd carb from the left, looking at them just like you photo's.

Go to Kawasaki.com or another bike web site, look at the parts diagrams they will have a breakdown of the carbs, it was also posted somewhere in one of you threads before.
You must have this throttle linkage in place, and then you must adjust each one of the 4 throttle valve slides so they are even, ie "Bench Sync". When they are nearly closed use a small piece of round wire for a "Feeler Gauge", some use a paper clip. Adjust all 4 of those throttle valves/ slides so they are even at the Idle position.
