 Wild guess --- is petcock allowing fuel to drain toward carb vacuum nipple through the vacuum tube from carb to petcock (perhaps due to petcock diaphragm damage)?

There's a carb fuel intake tee fitting between the middle two carbs.

Maybe all the fuel leakage was from just a loose fuel line where it attaches to the tee.

With the "correct" size fuel hose i.d., it's often unnecessary to use any type of clamp when attaching the fuel hose to whatever fitting.

I use the best non-kinking type fuel hose available, with smooth curves, usually without any clamps, and suffer no leakage whatever.

If leakage persists after tightening the attachment of fuel line to the tee, would then suspect damaged or deteriorated o-rings on the tee where the tee fits into the carbs.

Good Fortune! :)
