I don't have a good picture of them yet. They are TKI stamped 1974 Z15 (14 maybe). Got it with my GPZ motor (year yet left to be established, looks alot like an 85 ).

Any help from so little? Will go look closer and take pic soon.

Gotta love mystery parts.

Is this a 550 motor? The '81-'88 motors came with TKM22(26) carbs. '81s used TKM22 carbs, '82 and on used TKM26.

The carburetors are made by Teikei. This company is still around but the only carburetors it supplied to Kawasaki were for the 550 near as I know. They made round slide and CV type and their numbering system isn't well documented. Are these round slide or CV type?

Ive got a KZ550A1, the carbs on the new motor look different than the stock carbs of the A1 motor. Am I assuming right that the TKM22 is what is on my A1?

Yes it is a 550 motor in both cases.

I think you have the 22mm round slide version. I think the 26mm version must be CV. Not totally positive. The CV carbs have round tops while the round slide carburetors are much smaller through the bodies and have sort of rectangular tops.

Those appear to be Teikei CV carbs. Either measure the intake ID or refer to your manual for the size.
