CR125 single carb on a KZ400?

still pretty awesome:D if i found that in a garage, i would be drooling over it.

Stay tuned, im gonna have a video up of the carburetors in about 3 minutes. Sorry guys, i don't have a picture camera so I just video tape stuff instead.

I put a single carb on a 650. I am using a Stromberg 150 off a triumph car.
I use 1 inch copper tubing for the manifold. Have had it on for 3 years now. Still working fine.

Popular mod on the Kaw twin forum Some dude from England has experimented with the single carb on the 400/440 and the consensus is that anything bigger than a 35mm is too big. As in too hard to jet down. I would think that from a 32 to 35 would be ideal. I have been looking for a set of 35's for my 2 440's. As for the lean condition it is a none issue as the cylinders will suck what they need from the manifold. The design they were using had the carb at about a 60 degree angle instead of the 90 deg in the video. I like the 90 degree set up as it dumps the mixture right in the middle of the manifold. warning this thread is full of info and real long.

I found a 32mm on ebay that i think ill use for sure. Where do you guys get those air filter screen things? i may need one..

Not sure of where they got the screens but My concern is filtration. I want to look at a small round chrome airfilter housing. Might look real good in that location also. I have some parts bikes to play with, I'll get back.
