Float needles. was created by Cobb
Can anyone advise me why they advertise replacement float needles with the clips and some without for my 1983 KZ750L? What is the deal? What should they be?

Good question Cobb
I dont think the clips have any effect on how the float needle valves work
I've always used the ones with the clips as they hang off the float tangs and I dont drop them and lose them. :)

Float needles are not jet needles... ;)

Use either, it makes no difference.
