Sticky, dirty or worn out needle and seats. With the fuel on, try tapping on each of the float bowls with the plastic end of a screw driver. This sometimes vibrates the needles into place. Leaking like this can happen even on clean carbs that have been dry for a while. If the leaking doesn't stop, disassemble the carbs again a look closely at the float needles and seats and check for wear.

what he said.
if that doesnt work run some gas through them on the bench while the bowls are off and see if the needles close when you lift the floats

Still recovering, some days are better than others.

Would assure floats aren't installed upside down (as possible in some style carbs).

Am thinking the float needle seats aren't separately replaceable in these particular carbs.

Could consider using Brasso on a Q-Tip chucked in drill to polish the seat orifices.

Would inspect tips of float needles under a bright light with magnification to assure the tips aren't worn or damaged. And are hopefully in "as new" condition.

Good Fortune! :)
