Hello all any help would be much appreciated.i have a set of mikuni bs34cv carbs that i use on my race bike.the problem i have is that i need to know the proper float level and the proper amount of fuel in the bowl too! as a measurement.someone must know some info or where one could go to get the right spec.thanks to all in advance.jet set up would be nice too.thanks again people.

Just attach a clear length of hose to the carb drain and hold it up to the carb bowl.
When you open the drain the fuel will fill the hose up to the fuel height in the bowl.

The proper fuel height for the BS34's is 2-3mm from the gasket surface. So basically right where the bottom of the lip overhanging the carb bowl.

Someone will pop in with diagrams for sure :laugh:

Jetting depends on the condition of the engine, the average outside temps/humidity, and your altitude, also intake pressure (air filter type), and exhaust. + some other factors... people can give you a ballpark number for jets, but it always comes down to guessing and testing.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationThis will make it a little easier for the clear tube method. Works like a charm
