Z1-B Carb Overflow Hose Routing? was created by Kidkawie
I took the bike apart years ago and can't remember how the overflow lines are routed. Also, where does the rubber strap hook onto?
Thanks.
Thanks.

The hose should connect to the fitting at the bottom of the fuel bowl.
On my kz900 their about 18 inches long and just extend over the back of the motor between the swing arm and frame pointing down at the ground.

Thanks. What about that rubber band that secures the lines? Where does it mount on the chassis?

Mine doesn't have any for the four lines. Mine just hang down.
You can just tie it too the frame if you want.

On some bikes the rubber grommet mounts next to an engine mounting bolt. I suppose a loose black ty-wrap or two could be used to keep the drain lines together.
Just don't over tighten the ty-wrap so it pinches the lines shut.

I'm trying to get it back close to original. I have it looped around two harnesses under the battery box now. That's where it "felt" it wanted to be.
The actual part is: 92037-134 CLAMP,OVER FLOW PIPE
It's in the Frame/Fittings Section

Here's a rough idea of what the rubber piece looks like.
A suitable facsimile might be cut from a piece of inner tube.
Good Fortune!

kawasaki.com shows Part No. 92037-134 CLAMP,OVER FLOW PIPE as ACTIVE, and shared by 77 Kawasaki models, most recently being KL650EAF (KLR650) (2010).
Should be available through Kawasaki dealerships.
And maybe through Z1E.
Good Fortune!

Yeah, I already have the part, just forgot where it went. I was surprised to see it still available. Not that a zipty wouldn't work, but still, it's the details.
