Here are some pictures of my carbs, including a pic with the missing triangle piece. I just need to know what they are and what they came off of so I can buy the part I need that is missing. I also need to know what to do about the jets. I have an 82 kz750E running pods so what would be the best jet to start with? They measure 24mm on the engine side and 35mm on the intake side. Thank you for all your help.

Those are vm24 carbs with accelerator pump. They came on the kz650 from 79-81 (82 saw Kaw switch to CV carbs on the kz650). They look just like the stock set off the 81 650 CSR I had a couple years back. Those carbs didn't have anything on that spot where you're trying to find the missing piece. As mentioned previously that "mount" is actually a blocked off dummy and nothing was ever supposed to attach there (assuming they are kz650 carbs and not from some other make like a Suzuki or such).

For a KZ750 those are very small carbs. They will be fine for every day riding but very poor economy and no power. Kawasaki put larger carbs than that on the 82 400 four cylinders.

Yes those carbs are from a 76-78 kz650 that did use an accelerator pump, kzbobber1.use should be using a set of mikuni 34mm cv carbs, that will wake up that engine.they are usualy found on GPZ750's.

Keep your eyes open here in the classifieds and watch ebay. You're wanting to find BS34 Mikunis. Search ebay for kz1000 police carbs, or GPZ750 or 1100 carbs. The 1000 or 1100 carbs will need to be jetted appropriately for the 750 motor, but will work perfectly once you get the jetting figured out.

I measured my carbs again just to be sure, they measure just slightly over 1 inch, which says that they are 26mm not 24. I took out the main jets last night and they say 92.5 on each one of them. First and foremost will these carbs work on my 750 just for a cruiser? The walls are quite thick and Im sure I can bore them out to about 30mm or better pretty easily. Second, if I am running pod filters what would be a good jet to start off with? I am going to buy a few different ones so I dont have to run back to the store to get it right, but wanted to know what a good number would be as a starting point. Someone told me 102 but I dont know. Thanks
