29 smoothbores help wanted

hey all,
was curious if anyone mite know what the heck is goin on!29 smoothbores on a 75 z1b,1075 cc,stage one porting,10.5:1,.418 lift cams,4 into 1,and k+n's.stock valves.
pilot 22.5
needle .06
needle jet5dl31
slide 2.mm
air jet 0.9
needle clipped at 3
slides are supossed to be 1.5mm for a kawasaki.
now it seems to idle ok,but when ya give it gas about 2300 rpm it jets up to about 5000rpm and will not idle down till i adjust the idle screw.did spray wd lookin for leaks,none found.bike lives at 4300 ft.above sea level.at a lost on this,any ideas would be helpfull.

id start with vacuam leak or cable hanging up before going into the carbs

linkage is not connected.do ya install intake manifolds dry or with silicon.

i smear silicone on the head mating side(boos/hisses from audience! :laugh: )look on inside of boots for the cracks

so the jetting has nothing to do with this?ever seen this before?what bout the slides,to big?thanks for the info!
