Also, I was looking at the spark plugs... They all look kinda rich. Odd thing is some of the electrodes have a yellowish substance on them...kinda crusty crap. Any ideas?

Sounds like some foreign material other than gasoline. Maybe carb cleaner was burning in there? Haven't really seen that before.
Can you post a photo?

ok, so I think I figured out my issue. And caused another one.
SO, I had my carbs off already and decided to try and polish up my slides and the carb bodies because they weren't sliding as nicely because of my lemon juice bath. All was going well until I noticed to matter which slide I put into #2, it would get stuck when the needle was fully seated. I did some investigating and finally noticed that the little pipe or fitting or jet or whatever you call the piece that needle seals with looked different than the others. It was taller and had a rounded edge to it, while the others were flat topped.
I then realized this was the "good" carb I sent to the mechanic with the "bad" carb that had a partial plugged pilot circuit! (to use as a reference) So, it all comes together now... My WOT throttle issues showed up AFTER I got the carbs back from this guy. So, I tried to lightly tap that fitting out. Well, it came out and sure enough, it was in upside down! Problem is, either he or myself cracked the GD carb body where this fitting sits...so I am SOL now.
I'm thinking this may solve my WOT issues (at least it can't make it worse!). The bottom part of this part seals on the needle, and it it being upside down, it wouldn't let go of the needle because the needle was rammed so far into it. It seems like it would actually make the carb run leaner this way, but it seems too coincidental that my issues showed up when I got my carbs back from him.
SO, if anyone has a lead on some TK22's, please let me know. I need at least a #2 body or I'd be interested in the whole rack for parts too.
not sure why he would even take this piece out...not like it was plugged, you can fit a fricken small phillips screwdriver through the thing...
I couldn't find the part on the parts diagramg, but here is the part on ebay:

...cracked the GD carb body where this fitting sits....
How severe is the crack? Pics?
Thinking possibly serviceable despite crack.
