do you really need to take em off the rack?......one is a fuel joint and the other is just air....if doing a rebuild, they can stay on the rack.....

i want them off the rack so i can soak and soda blast all the components.

I want to remove all rubber and other pieces that will not survive the carb cleaner bath.

remove the screws holding them onto the rack on the side facing the intakes and just yank em apart....B)

Try boiling the carb assembly in distilled water, it's much easier on the environment and your hands.

It will take longer than using a solvent cleaner, but no nasty fumes to inhale.

ah. hahaha i figured it out.

you have to remove all the screws from the back of each carb then it all just falls off.

i was only removing one at a time.

thanks!
