GPz305 won't take any throttle was created by mjg15
The bike will idle perfectly @ 1500rpm all day long, but wont take any throttle.

I've checked:
-Carbs are clean (ultrasonic)
-Diaphrams appear to be good
-Valve adj. in range
-Compression 150 psi
-Intake manifolds not leaking
-Stock exhaust and airbox

Carbs are Keihin CV32's. Maybe these carbs are supposed to have those plugs near the main/pilot area ?

I don't know jack about the 305, but I assume it probably has a mechanical Timing Advancer... I've seen it cause this very problem in a couple of instances. They like to cease up after sitting a while.

Might be worth a look see if you haven't already and just didn't list it.

If you are referring to the two vacuum ports for synchronising, then you will need to plug them.

Thanks guys.

I'll look into what type of advancer, it's a possibility as the starter was a little sticky. It was stored in a semi dry garage for the last couple years.

I have the sync plugs, I was referring to the ones inside the floatbowl that some carbs have. These carbs dont require them
