Whats the OD of the 26 carbs?i know you can shove 29s into stock k1000 boots for 26mm carbs. goodluck,happy wrenching!

You have to elongate the bolt holes to make them fit though.
I checked and they are now $48.80, still a lot cheaper than $70 though.

I guess I was figuring shipping and the swap to CAD$ for the $70 figureI have a set of J model carb holders that I got from Z1, and I'm pretty sure I paid ~$40 for a set of four.
You have to elongate the bolt holes to make them fit though.

So does anyone know the OD for a 28? I need to see if its "close enough" to the OD of the 24s to see if I can modify my intake boots. thanks
