floats

ok,if you guys seen all my post for info.the carbs are done.,all most,when i went to set float bowl level.it seemed ,that i had to bend tabs a lot.to get 26mm form carb body?is this normal,ive never seen a tab bent so much?thanks for any feed back.

Imo, should forget float height, and concentrate on actual fuel level as shown by the clear tube test, which FSM may refer to as the "service fuel level."

The same apparently identical float height measurement in all carbs may result in different actual fuel levels among the carbs, and maybe none of them within specs.
