i've got a miss on my kz900. i think its #3, it does it mainly when holding the throttle steady(like crusing). it seems to miss and pop from the intake and exhaust on this cylinder, and seems to sometimes loose one cylinder, but feels like it comes alive at 5k and over, or when accelerating hard. i'm new to the 900 and the raw power they have, which makes diagnosing power troubles harder. would the float level cause this. i see i have fuel leaking from the bowl gasket and from the over flow drain, on #3. dident think that a rich condition would ast like this. i'm going to check the level soon, also the valve clearances. just looking for some insite befor working on it.
carb tuners please let your insite flow freely.

Tried replacing the sparkplug wires(high tension leads) or sparkplug cap(s)?
Checked the input voltage to the primary(small wires) side of the ignition coils?

i have new wires in hand. am going to change them the next time i can get time to work on it. when i put a timing light on the #4 wire sometimes when cold i dont get a spark at all, thats why i got the wires. i may have to change the coils also, is it common to lose one half of a coil.
also the voltage was close to batt+ when i last checked, but that was last fall when i was putting it back together.
