Wow! Nice bike. Welcome to KZR. Where have you been all this time? Have you documented your build anywhere? Sorry that I'm no help with the velocity stacks b/c I wouldn't use them if I were planning on riding my bike on the street very much.

Welcome to KZR, I hope you have more pix of the build. You need to measure the openings like fitting pod filters and find some stacks that fit. Tuning for stacks isn't easy and tuning for pods is probably easier.

you can get stacks from z1 i think or sudco or schnitz racing. tuning for stacks isn't bad with slide carbs but on cv's like you have it can be a real nightmare i'd definitly use pods my self. the super pro's from ape or k&n's not any of the cheap versions because they come apart really easy.

Love your machine... really need more pic's & info.
Stacks would look killer on that bike, but I'd also have a set of Pod's, for when you really want to go somewhere...
Welcome aboard - I think you'll fit in with the herd, just fine!

thanks for the pointers ya'll. the bike is up and i've had a good year on it as is. unfortunately i squeeked by with a very janky wiring harness, it is time to bring it back into the shop. I will be posting a subject on a help with a very barebones wiring harness. any input would be greatly appreciated. ton-up!!

What kind of filtration have you been using so far? Hows the performance/jetting currently?
You can get velocity stacks of different lenghts, with tight fitting screens to prevent larger debris from entering the engine. They do however allow dust and fine sand/soot, etc enter the engine at all times, so be prepared to be rebulding on a fairly seasonal or better basis.
Good luck.
