It could be the right size for your setup, if your bike has a few mods, and is jetted correctly. Whats been done to the motor?

im not sure if anything to the engine. my brother gave me the bike and said he knew that it did have non-stock pipes installed when he bought the bike a few years ago. all other jets in the carb are the stock numbers. so i guess i will see how it runs when put the carbs back on. my brother said he could burn the tires through 4 gears when he first got the bike.

Sounds like it will use all that fuel:woohoo:

If it pulls fine WOT to redline then the jets should be good.
If it pulls fine but sputters short of redline then the jets are too big .

Keep us posted!!!

If it was running that good with the 140s Im pretty sure theres a bit more than just a pipe added.
Go for a rip (look out for cops:woohoo:  ) and try Intimida2ors WOT idea.

Well... sounds like a Dynajet kit in there. Their approach is one size fits all main jet and one size fits all jet needle. It seldom works as well as it should since most all bikes are different and set up differently. I would look at the jet needles and see if it is a Dynajet needle and if the bike were mine (I am interested in both performance and economy), I would rejet using genuine Mikuni main jets, pilot jets and jet needles.
