i have given up on trying to tune carbs on kz440 with no airbox and have no clue where to find airbox with ALL the parts to it does anyone know what would be a good set of carbs to replace the cv carbs with?

There's got to be a 440 air box sitting around in a salvage yard somewhere. That would be easier and less expensive than replacing carbs.

Have you taken the carburetors apart to see if there is anything clogging up anything.

I just took mine apart today and found the diaphragm had been eaten in one place, where gasoline must have pooled as it sat on the shelf(bleeping ethanol mix). Luckily I have a spare carburetor set that I can steal the diaphragm from.

I used a welding torch tip cleaner that is available at most hardware stores to clean out any debris. About $5-7.00
