Hey I'm new to this forum, first post. I have a 1983 KZ1100 Spectre running a MAC 4 into 1 exhaust and UNI pods. I just got a jet kit from 6 Sigma Racing off of ebay fitted (i'm hoping) to meet my bike's extremely lean high flow needs. The kit is as follows:

Jets:
2x142.5's
2x145's
2x147.5's

drill bit #1 for drilling out the slide. No size printed on it, but looks to be around 3/32 inch in diameter measuring with a caliper.

drill bit #2 for drilling out the main air jet. Same deal, looks to be about 1/32 inch in diameter.

washers for shimming the needles.

My question is, has anyone used one of these kits before? The only jetting i've ever done before (in other bikes) is to simply change the main jet size and needle position. I'd just like a little feedback before I just commit to drilling out orifices. I spent 90 bucks on this kit and it has detailed instructions with it, but they specify an 83 KZ1000, so i'm a little worried that they may have mixed up my order. Seems to be for the same carbs though. I've emailed 6 sigma and they haven't got back to me yet. Feedback?

never heard of this outfit but it sounds like they are just copying dyno jet with those kits you usally have to drill or at least open up exsisting lift holes in the slide
