hey gang,

wondering where i can get mikuni bs34 bowl drain screws. the motorcycle shop i paid money to have my carbs cleaned actually just damaged them and took my money! so, it's going to be done by me this time. it you want something done right...anyways, any advice or links will be appreciated. thanks in advance!
1982 Kawasaki KZ 750LTD. i wanted the big boy 1000, but there's like a billion of these 750 ltds running around. so what the hey!

Any dealer or online OEM parts source should be able to order them, $6-7 ea.

btw do these bikes use 12mm speedo cables? you can't use dirt bike speedo cables can you?

Got no Idea, but this link has the Kawasaki parts diagram for your model: www.cyclepartsnation.com/pages/parts/viewbybrand/parts.aspx
Then once you get the part # for the part you want, shop around for price and availability.

thats good info, the only problems is im working with something a little different from stock. i put a gpz dash on a kz ltd. the gpz dash sits higher than the kz dash, so im not quite sure how i should shop for a cable. im a little stuck on what overall length and housing length to choose from on denniskirk.

Do have the stock cable, then measure the overall length + the additional length to get up to the new height. And you could test the fitting onto the GPZ speedo head. If Dennis is where you want to order they have a quite good technical service, give them a call for questions.

is it necessary for droop in the cable. most cables have some play so they aren't pulled tight, im guessing so you can turn the bars on the bike.
