I'm with the others where 1 filter for 4 carbs! :S
I guess if all 4 combined are only pulling 40-60CFM...
I'll stick with my setup thank you...

Not that I will do this, I am a big fan of my individual pods, but in essence it is a good idea. If I remember from reading his thread over tha past few weeks/months he is a bit of a newbie like me, so maybe he didn't know any better with the design, but to have a setup that enables you to keep stock jetting, (no messing around) and yet lets you take the carbs off and on without the hassle of the stupid boots and airbox is great. I think if somebody with more carb experience designed something like that that looked better, flowed same as stock, and didn't take a half a case of beer to remove and replace carbs it would be a boon for many people.

I One suggestion would be to put a filter pod at each end of the plenum and turn them 180 degrees so they would point forward.Seems like u would get more of a "ram air" effect like that and it would not be any harder to fab up or install. Also would not get in the way of ur leg(s).bj
i was thinking that too when i saw the comment about the last carb in the row...put two filters on! one on each side.
Then you could expirament with air filter sizes to get the bike running correctly.(in theory)
