Bench syncing Keihin CV34's? was created by polkat
I presently have my Keihin Cv34's off of my 750-4 to clean them up and fix a few little problems. When I put them back on I plan to vacuum sync them, but a friend says to bench sync them while they are still off.
How exactly is this done? With these carbs the only thing I can see that might be adjusted is the slider height, and I can't see any provision for making such an adjustment! Can someone enlighten me? Thanks!

Bench syncing on CV carbs is done by manipulating the throttle plates/butterflys so that they are all passing about the same amount of mixture. Or light in this case.
Just hold the carbs up to a light, change the throttle plate adjuster screws so that they are all passing visually about the same amount of light, a small crack of light visible at the bottom and top of the bore.
Thats close enough to start with.
Does that help?
