Vacuum slide springs was created by lrburke
Hey there guys, I had posted a topic a while back about jetting a 1981 KZ750H. A couple of you responded and I appreciate it but I have discovered what I think is a major issue with these carbs! I never even took the Vacuum slide caps off but just installed different jets! Well, I decided to remove the caps and discovered that only carb #1 had a Kawasaki spring and the other 3 had what looked to be Honda CB750 springs in them!! They were noticeably lighter than the Kawasaki spring. Does anybody out there happen to have an old set of these carbs layin around for parts that has these springs? Kawasaki still sells them at around 14 bucks each but I would rather give the cash to one of you guys rather than Kawasaki! I will give 8 or 10 bucks each for used ones if I can locate them! Thanks guys!!
