1976 KZ400 carburetor parts was created by Kitten Tooth
Was curious if the seat was removable from the carburetor? It says in the parts lists on cycle parts nation that they are pressed in? By seat, i mean needle and seat. When i pulled the carbs apart the other day, i couldn't pull the seat out of the carb body, are they even removable? Also, i found the vacuum leak so as soon as the carbs are totally clean, it should run great after i plug the open vacuum. It was the nossles on the side of the carburetors that you hook up the carb sync tool, there were no rubber caps on them. If the seats are removable, can anyone tell me where i could find new ones, or a rebuild kit? I can't find one on ebay. The bike is a 1976 KZ400S2.

Thanks guys,
KT

The seats can be easily cleaned instead of removed.
Removal, or the attempt, often ends up damaging the seat or walls.

Use a cotton swab and some metal polish, and spin it in the seat till its super shiney clean, then blast it wath some carb cleaner.

New carb float needles are a good idea too.
