APE Nitrous Manifolds - Carb Question

Can anyone tell me if adding these NOS manifolds would alter the way the engine runs with no other changes made? I'm thinking of adding these with a vacuum fiting in place of the nozzle to synch the larger carbs that don't have vacuum ports. The larger rubber manifolds for these carbs do not have vacuum ports either.

Any opinions?

i have heard it said that u can just drill a hole in your current manifolds and silicone in some hose barbs.
i dont see why it woudnt work, and way cheaper.
the nos plates would raise the power band slightly.Think of a high rise manifold on a race car.

they wont make that much of a difference without the happy gas. but it sure makes the engine look cooler and it might somebody take a second thought if they think they can take you at a stoplight.

I just noticed that APE offers a one piece manifold too. It's also tapped for the fogger nozzles. By the way - are the threads pretty standard for nitrous nozzles? I saw one place where the thread was called out as 1/16 npt thread. Anyone know if that's pretty much standard? Are these manifolds tapped for that thread? I'd have to find some kind of nipple with that thread that would work with the manometer.
