Not sure what you are trying to accomplish, but you can mount larger CV style intake manifolds or smaller VM24 style manifolds on a 903/1015 cylinder head by hogging out the mount holes a bit.

You are VERY intuitive george... I haven't gotten that desperate yet, but I was considering the idea of going to different carbs. I have given up yet though. This thing is such a basket case!

I have bunches of intake manifolds that I mount on my KZ900... VM24 type, VM26/28/29 type and BS32/34 type. All you need to do is hog out the mount holes on the VM24 and BS32/34 type to make them work. I also use washers with stainless socket head bolts to hold the manifolds in place. A Dremmel tool with a metal cutting bit works best for doing the reshaping of the manifold mount hole.
