What is the stock needle get size on a 83 KZ 1100?

First of all the 83 is not an A2 it is an A3. The 82 is an A2. So which do you have??

81/82 = #120main 83 = #117.5main. Needle jet is a Y-1 for 81/82 and a Y-2 for 83. The needle was the same for all of them 4CG15

So the stock A3 carbs have 117.5 Main jets, Y-2 Needle Jet, and a 4CF59 needle needle. What this means is that in comparison to the A1/A2 the bike is a bit richer in the lower mid range but leaner in the upper mid range and top end. All in all that bike is set up quite lean threw the entire range.

That needle has a double taper, which is 1.5* on top and 2.25* at the lower half. Just for comparison, the needles on a police bike had 3.5* on top and 4.0* on the lower half.
