help with idle

bike is idling at about 3000 rpm... i have no freeplay in the throttle ? what am i doin wrong? what do i need to do?

Is the large thumb screw on the carb adjusted right. If all the adjustments are right I would look for a vacuum leak, use some carb cleaner and spray it all around the carb holders if the rpm's rise higher you have found the leak

Where the cables hook to the carbs you should see an adjuster screw that you use your fingers to loosen or tighten, it should have a spring on the shoulder of the screw. The butterfly looking part that the cables hook to should have the stop screw.
