throttle

ok.. so i got the carbs all done bike runs awesome . it just idles a little bit to high. not sure on how to adjust. i am pretty sure i adjust by the cables at the carb? but do i want them looser or should they be tighter? kinda lost looking for some hope. thanks

Get them in the ballpark at the carbs then go to the adjustments on the throttle at the handle bars to fine tune. You want just a very little play so you know that this is not making the idle high. Once that is done go to the big thumb screw on the carb linkage and see if you can adjust the idle down. I hope this helps
