Right on. Mine are from a 1995 police bike. I'll try em, and if my throttle response isn't good enough, I'll look into drilling stuff.

The needles from the police bike are totaly wrong. The mid range will be way too fat and it will bogg. I have the correct needles if you want to trade.

You want the police ones? I'll trade, sure. The needle looks like one of the ones you posted a while back that you use in your modded kz1000 if I recall correctly.

The police needles are the same as in the standard 1100 motors but they are usable for me the 750 needles I have are not. Pm me your address and I will send out the needles to you. You already have my address to ship the 1000 needles. What head is it that you are holding out fore that has the idler provisions from a 750??? I didn't think there was one. fabing that idler tower would not be hard. The block you need is about 2"x2"x3" I personally would make mine out of mild steel and not aluminum. The other simple thing to do is just to make a block that you bolt into the casting and to bolt your original tower to. That would be VERY easy.

I'll send you the needles tomorrow. Thanks.

Some 750 heads did have the top idler mounts because they still used KZ650 castings for a while. But me and Larry have worked out a solution. KZ650 head with KZ750 intake valves.

I've been working on a couple of 850 Suzukis and the 82 model uses 32mm carbs.

They have the same spacing as the Kaws and they can be had fairly cheap.

Just thought i would throw that is. Roy

Are they EXACTLY the same spacing or ALMOST the same spacing. I bought a set of GS1150 carbs because I was told the same thing and they wer off by about a quarter inch. Unfortunately Suzuki Is not like Kawasaki where they try to keep things consistant. Are they Mikuni or Kaihins? I know some people like them but I personaly can't stand the Keihin carbs.

I haven't pulled the "82" Suzy carbs yet. Am still working on the "79" vm carbs. I put them up against a set of 28's and they were a perfect match. Roy

Second that one!

The bs34 is supposed to be the carb of choice for the 810 conversion, as I understand it anyway. They are easier to work on than the Mikunis, needles aside.

If I knew what I was doing all the time life wouldn't be any fun.
