I have a rack of VM 28s that I want to clean and rebuild, but when I search for information, I come up with info about 28 mm flatslides, and the ones I have are round slides with an accelerator pump. Does anyone know anything about these carbs, or where I can find any information on them? I'm especially interested in how the accelerator pump is rigged to operate. Thanks.

Someone will have more input after the discussion is onthe board longer.

Those carbs i believe were built so the pilot jets could be smaller to pass or conform to epa specs.

I like those carbs but i remove the accelator pump and install 26 mm bowls. It's just easier for me to jet them that way. Roy
