Hi , new here, need some info. for the VM28SC mikuni carb.'s on this bike that I can't find anywhere. In trying to clean the crud out the carbs I finally resorted to spinning a drill bit in my fingers to clear the starter fuel galley in the floar bowl. Later, I sadly found out there's a jet in this passage, which I have to suspect is now enlarged, but since I did all three I don't know for sure. Research shows these jets are a press-in and are sized and numbered for each particular application, but I haven't been able to find out what mine ought to be. Does anybody have this info, or would you be willing to measure yours ( I'm thinking a snug fit with a drill bit would be awful close) and tell me the proper dia. of the jet hole? I figure if mine are hugely oversize I can try making brass plugs with a correctly sized hole & press them into the starter fuel galley inlet hole at the bottom of the float chamber in the float bowl. Sound workable? I'd like to be able to let the bike idle & warm up a bit with the starter open (works well with my other 2-strokes), hence my concern with having the proper sized starter jets in place. Thanks for the help!
