Is there a Standard setting for this? I lost all track of it when I pulled the carbs for cleaning. Doesn't state it in the manual. I'm guessing there is. Carbs are Keihin CV34.

All I go on is the manual which says 1050 or thereabouts.

Yah, I see that in the manual, but I was thinking that maybe there are a certain number of turns out as well...because I'm pretty sure it's way off the mark. I was thinking there is a way to get the setting in the ball park area befoer I put them back on, then do the fine adjustment once I get it running.

A good ballpark setting is 1&1/2 turns out from lightly seated.

When tuning pilot screws with engine running, turn all 4 in/out the same till highest idle, then tune individually for highest idle in small increments.

Cheers!

If you're talking about that big black knobbed screw between and below carbs # 2 and 3 then there is'nt really a factory setting. If you did'nt mess with it when you had the carbs off then it will be in the ballpark when you put the carbs back on. If you did take it apart then set in about the middle of the adjustment range, start the bike and let it really warm up well before fine tuning. I like to have the idle speed at about 1200rpm.
