Please I.D. these carbs was created by GregZ
These carbs were on a recent 73 Z1 purchase. The previuos owner had no idea about original 28mm carbs. He took his carbs to a independent bike shop for cleaning and the owner just swapped him for these 26's and then sold the 73 28's on ebay. What an A$$. these carbs were ultrasonic cleaned look good I just don't know what the top plate is for ,never seen that. What are these carbs for ?? they will be eBayed soon

1976 KZ 900.
The 76 had the "brace" between the carb tops and also has the idle screw mounting plate screws at about 45 degrees.

Yes, 76 KZ900. I have those carbs (minus the plate). They are actually nice carbs, easy to tune and hold a tune quite well.

If someone took the carbs off my Z1 he would have been talking to a judge!

On the flange near where the carbs go in the boots there is a number. Where you are holding the carbs. Roy

How would you guys compare the 76 kz900 carbs against a 78 kz1000 set ?
I have a set of kz900's and they seem to be in better shape then the stock ones on my bike. JD

The "Z" carbs should be 28mm. Worth a lot of bucks.

The 76 carbs and the 78 set should be a lot alike. Roy
