FUEL IN THE AIRBOX 1982 KZ750 M1 was created by EvanXU1
Looking for some advice on a problem happening on startup with my bike. I start the bike without issue with the petcock turned to ON. Upon moving the bike around while warming up, I noticed a large amount of fuel making a puddle on the ground.
I thought it might be the carbs, so I looked around but did not find any fuel coming out of them.... Then I noticed fuel dripping around the H pipe of the exhaust. The breather box is above the leak, so I decided to look inside the airbox. Doing this had me discover the air filter covered in fuel and some residual fuel sitting in the bottom of the box.

ANY thoughts on what i could do to keep fuel from entering the airbox? Has anyone else run into this issue?

Thanks

Evan

stuck or corroded float valve assemblies double check your oil level if they are leaking that badly as to fill the airbox you will most likely have a bottom end filled with gas as well.
