Hello fellow members !
A while back I read a post that I think wiredgeorge responded to that he gave instructions on how to bench synch your carbs before vacuum synching them. I can't find it now. Does anybody remember it or have that information ? thanks

Here is a link explaining how I did it using small balls.

Thanks for the info Milkman and jmkzhi. I'll try the ball method tomorrow. I'm going to the hardware store and pick up some 1/8 inch balls first, of course, and remove the carbs that I can't get synched from the bike for about the 7th or 8th time. I may have to dismantle them like you did Milkman because I never did that in my initial clean up and it could be a problem.
Hopefully, I'll be able to get this bike ready to be on the road so I can catch as many good weather days as possible. Thanks again guys and I'll let you know how the ball method works for me.

Cool writeup Milkman. Especially since I have a couple of bags of bearings for my bicycle. I have one question, though. Why is it necessary to remove the throttle return spring?
